General Rules |
No outsider is allowed to enter the College without a valid reason |
If a student remains absent from the College without permission for more than ten consecutive days, his/her name shall be struck off from the College rolls. |
Unlawful assembly of students in the College is banned |
Writing of graffiti on the walls or sticking of posters is a cognizable offence. |
Ragging in any form, on or off the College Campus, including the Hostel is a cognizable offence and the student(s) involved in ragging will be severely punished, even to the extent of being expelled from the College. |
Students resorting to violence in the campus or unfair means in the examination are liable to be issued a ‘Bad Character Certificate.’ |
A student desirous of withdrawing his/her name from the College rolls should submit an application, countersigned by the parent/guardian of the student. The withdrawal certificate shall be issued only after the student clears all College dues. Such students shall in no case be re-admitted during the same academic session. |
Any student, who indulges in any indiscipline in the College, shall not be eligible for any prize/certificate/award or scholarship from the Institution. This shall apply to all the students including NSS volunteers, NCC cadets, players or the hostellers. |
Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited on the College premises during working hours. |
The College authorities reserve the right to change, modify or suspend any of the rules as and when required. |
Anti-Ragging Cell |
Ragging of students in any form is strictly prohibited within and outside the Campus. An anti-ragging and disciplinary committee constituted of senior faculty members of the College is in operation with the functioning of a ‘strong anti-ragging cell’ in the College. Students are advised to bring cases of ragging to the notice of the Principal or the teachers. The offenders shall be liable for punishment as per law.
